Description
"Penny the One-Eyed Puppy" is the charming story of a puppy named Penny who hears her owner say no one would want her because she was born with one eye. But a lady named Robin proves the owner wrong when she adopts Penny to join her family. Penny, of course, gradually adapts to her new surroundings, and is able to chase a ball, spot a bird, dig a hole, and run around in the backyard--all things any dog would do. The book, which communicates the important lesson that handicaps are only limiting if they are allowed to be, is sure to be the book children ask their parents to read them.
