Sunday, September 19, 2-3 pm Dust Bowl Days.  Two free presentations are offered at Russo's in the Marketplace, Sundays, September 12 and 19, 2 to 3 p.m. Teachers, students, and history buffs are invited to attend.  For more information and a wonderful historical experience, come to the October 16th annual Dust Bowl Days Festival.  This free event will be held, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sunset School in Lamont, California.  See a PowerPoint Presentation that documents the filming of the movie, The Grapes of Wrath. Books by local authors are available for purchase.  For more information contact:  Zelma Frankhouser, zelmafrankhouser@yahoo.com or (661) 487-5188. Presenter: Dr. Zelma Frankhouser completed her bachelor of vocational degree from CSU Long Beach.  This degree focuses on teaching and working with re-entry adults and special populations (prison education).  She completed her master of arts degree from CSU Long Beach in human services with a focus on working with adult populations who are struggling to change their lives.  Dr. Frankhouser then completed her Doctor of Theology through Summit Bible College, Bakersfield campus with a focus on Christian counseling.
