 The city with the best party based on the reigning Newbery Award winning book The Graveyard Book will win a visit later this year from Neil Gaiman. Help us bring Neil Gaiman to Bakersfield.We're in it to win it!!! Join us Friday, October 16 Russo's Marketplace (9000 Ming Avenue, Bakersfield, 661-665-4686) 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Graveyard Party is designed for middle school, high school, and college-aged kids. Come dressed in your Halloween costume or simply come as "the living" or "the dead", and bring your friends. Dance to with DJ at The Macabray Masquerade Games, activities, prizes, photos, refreshments, and more. This will be THE PLACE TO BE on Friday, October 16. Special thanks to our friends at The Chamber (www.chamberhaunt.com/ <http://www.chamberhaunt.com/>) for helping provide a little Graveyard atmosphere to our party. FYI >>> Our event is not a Haunted House, for that we highly recommend The Chamber. Ours is a awesome party that is going to bring an awesome author to our hometown.
