The Bakersfield Californian presents the third annual Bakersfield Book Festival to benefit the Kern Adult Literacy Council. 

The event is from 10a-2p on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Bakersfield College.  $10 admission tickets are on-sale NOW at all Russo's Books locations.  Details at www.kernalc.org.

This year's feature author/speaker/signer will be bestselling mystery writer J. A. Jance.  Russo's will have plenty of books available for sale, with the proceeds also benefitting Kern Adult Literacy.
