Poet Helen Shanley, who passed away last year, enriched our community not only with her own work, but with her commitment to the creation of a community of writers to support that process in others.

Please join us Sunday afternoon, March 2, as poets LisaAnn LoBasso, Stafford Betty, Gary Hill, Nancy Edwards, and Ann Williams read selections of Helen's work.  Visual artists Iva Fendrick and Nicole Saint-John will exhibit paintings inspired by her poetry.

Winners of the inaugral Shanley Emerging Poet Scholarship will also be announced during the event.
