 After years of writing weekly radio spots on the history of Kern County for a local station, Kern County Museum Assistant Director Jeff Nickell decided to combine the stories with the images from the tremendous collection of photographs housed at the museum. The results of these efforts are collected in this 92 page volume titled "Chronicles of Kern County". From the history of KMC to the Great Fire of 1889 to the Tehachapi Loop, this is a book Kern County, California history buffs will truly enjoy.
