| Rusty Shoop has been an on-air television news personality in Bakersfield, California, since 1984. In January of ’07, a brain aneurysm put Rusty’s career on hold. That’s when he decided to revisit a novel he had written a number of years prior. In Blood Harvest, Rusty draws on his own experience as a newsman in Bakersfield as his protagonist, Eyewitness News anchorman Jake Adams, investigates a murder mystery of grand proportions. So enjoy the ride, and bundle up—the fog is settling in over the San Jacinto Valley. |
