Russo's TeenReader (Russo's)
Each month we talk about books and reading, movies and pop culture, school and life. Throw in a fun activity or two and basically hang out with other young booklovers, and you have a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
We meet the first Saturday of the month from 9am to 10am at Russo's Books. Parents are welcome to wait in our office or courtyard, although many use the time to run errands. No RSVP necessary, just show up ... and bring a friend!
SATURDAY, JULY 13 9am at Russo's Books (2nd Saturday of the month in July due to Independence Day holiday weekend)
Theme: Leaving Our Comfort Zones. We drew straws and will read certain genres throughout June and share our results in July. If you care to join us, just pick one of the following genres that you usually would NOT read from:
- Urban Fantasy
- Novel-length fan-fic crossover (50,000+ words)
- The most horrifying Holocaust story as rated on Google (you research then read the book)
- Nicholas Sparks-style of romance novel
- Victorian History (the weirder the better)
