Noelle Cannon
Noelle Cannon is a single mother to one, and currently resides in Bakersfield, CA with her daughter. She has a lifelong enthusiasm for writing. Noelle has been writing independently for sixteen years and it quickly became a passion for her. She began writing at age eleven which helped her cope with growing pains, and this led her to publish her first poem in her local school newspaper. When she is not writing, she is usually hiking local trails or getting lost on the back roads of the rural city.
In Sunspot we have a cave cracked open for us which reveals as much light as it does shadow. Noelle Cannon's poetry builds momentum in small truths which reveal a poet wrestling with deep emotion through an exploration of the wrong turns those emotions can drive us towards.
